We have been enjoying a webcam in the nest of an Osprey for the last week or so.
The cam is maintained by the Audubon Society and the location is in Bremen, Maine, a small town along the coast.
Set high in a 30 foot tower, the nest overlooks the water where the pair fish for all their food.
They have quite the view of the bay with boats coming and going throughout the day.
Steve and Rachel are very attentive parents, and this season they are rearing three little ones.
We check on them several times throughout the day, and I admire the colorful nets that Rachel has decorated her nest with.
I wonder what they are thinking when they find them – colorful? interesting? maybe some bait food was left in one and they can smell it?
Every couple of days a new one appears in the nest.
